Globe Metalworks has over 30 years experience in metal working. We have acheived an excellent reputation for producing high-quality Stainless Steel Balconies, Handrails, and Stairwells.
Stainless Steel Handrails
We design, manufacture, supply and install stainless steel handrail solutions for residential and commercial use in Ireland. Our handrails are suitable for a variety of locations, both interior and exterior.
We also use toughened glass in our handrails. Typical grades are Stainless Steel 316 for exterior use and Stainless Steel 304 grade for interior settings.
Our handrails are a low maintenance product if used correctly. Most of our handrails are bespoke manufactured, made-to-measure installations. Using our handrails in your home or business not only adds beauty, but can also make it more accessible.

We design, manufacture, supply and install Stainless Steel Stairwells for homes and businesses in Ireland. Our Stainless Steel Stairwells are suitable for a variety of locations, for both interior and exterior use.

We design, manufacture, supply and install Stainless Steel Balconies for homes and commercial use in Ireland. Our Stainless Steel Balconies are suitable for a variety of locations – interior and exterior use.
We also use toughened glass, round bar infill and mesh in our Stainless Steel Stairwells. Typical grades we use are Stainless Steel 316 for exterior use and Stainless Steel 304 grade for interior settings. Most of our stainless steel balconies are bespoke made-to-measure installations.
Bronze Stairwells and Railings
Globe Metalworks Ltd. were commissioned to design, manufacture and install Bronze handrails and balustrades at the recently refurbished Dún Laoghaire Baths.
All joints were silver soldered, a lost art, to provide a stunning and beautiful stairwell. We also provided the Dún Laoghaire Baths signage, laser cut from a 10mm Bronze plate (Cu Sn8)
Additionally we installed 5 Bronze Juliet balconies to secure access to the double doors allowing a view to Dublin Bay.
